This weekend we were visited by two wonderful people, Amanda and Sean Casey. We only get to see them about once a year (mainly because Joe and I are bad friends/I never answer the phone/we have never even seen their house), but when we do get to see them it is always a fun time.
While we were waiting for the two of them to arrive, after the Va Tech graduation, Joe and I decided to snap some picks of the growing thing that is my abdomen.
There is no way to deny that I am pregnant. Some of my students waited until about a month ago to ask if I was expecting and the rest of the class made fun of them... "no unnamed student, I just ate A LOT of cheez-its at lunch".
Well, hey there!
Another fun thing that has happened this week is the arrival of the new cushions for the rocking chair. This rocking chair came from Joe's mom and was used to rock all of the Loyacano/Barbagallo clan.
I had no idea that I had a thing for owls until I started putting this room together, but in my defense Joe helped a lot when picking out the pattern.
